    Short version: Pinterest Pin Generator does not collect, store, or share any personal information. All image processing happens locally in your browser. The only outbound requests are a license key validation call to Lemon Squeezy when you activate a subscription, and image loading from Amazon's CDN to build your collage.
  

What This Extension Does

Pinterest Pin Generator is a Chrome extension that reads your Amazon Idea List pages, fetches the product images for items on the list, and generates a downloadable Pinterest-style pin collage image — entirely within your browser.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

Browsing history or visited URLs
Personal information (name, email address, location, etc.)
Amazon account data, order history, or wish list contents
The content or images of any Amazon page you visit
Usage analytics, telemetry, or crash reports
Cookies or session tokens from any website

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The extension stores the following data in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device except as described in the sections below:

License key — your Lemon Squeezy subscription key, stored so you don't need to re-enter it each session.
License validation status — whether your key was last confirmed as active (true/false).
Last validated timestamp — the date the key was last checked, so re-validation only happens once per day.
Free trial usage count — a number tracking how many free generations you have used.

License Key Validation

When you enter a license key or when your key is due for its daily re-check, the extension sends your license key to Lemon Squeezy to verify that your subscription is active. This is the only outbound network request the extension makes to a service we control. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy is available at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.

Amazon Page Access

When you click "Generate Pinterest Pin," the extension:

Reads the product ASINs and list title from the Amazon Idea List page you are currently viewing.
Opens each product page in a background browser tab (invisible to you) to extract the main product image URL and product title from the page's HTML.
Immediately closes each background tab after extraction.

No Amazon page content, product data, or image files are transmitted to any server. Everything is used locally to draw the collage on an HTML Canvas element in your browser.

Permissions Explained

tabs

Used to read the active tab's URL (to detect if you're on an Amazon Idea List) and to open temporary background tabs to fetch product images from Amazon product pages during collage generation.

scripting

Used to inject the collage generation UI into the Amazon Idea List page and to run image-extraction scripts inside the temporary background product tabs.

activeTab

Used to inject scripts and styles into the tab you are currently viewing when you click Generate — scoped only to that moment and that tab.

storage

Used to save your license key and trial usage count locally in your browser so they persist across sessions. No data is synced to any remote server.

Host access: amazon.com & m.media-amazon.com

Access to amazon.com is required to read Idea List pages and open product pages in background tabs. Access to m.media-amazon.com is required to load product images onto the HTML Canvas via CORS-enabled requests.

Host access: api.lemonsqueezy.com

Required to validate your subscription license key against the Lemon Squeezy API. This is the only request sent to a server we operate with, and it transmits only your license key — no personal information.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used by this extension is Lemon Squeezy for subscription management and license key validation. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks, or any other tracking or analytics service.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no data retained by Advanced Influencer Tools to delete. Data stored locally in your browser (license key, usage count) can be cleared at any time by removing the extension from Chrome.

Children's Privacy

This extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
